Our Staff

Shirley Pollak, Au.D.




Dr. Pollak has been serving the Brooklyn community in clinical practice for 17 years. Prior to establishing her private practice, she served as Chief of Audiology and Speech at a local medical center, where she established and maintained the first newborn hearing screening program in Brooklyn. Dr. Pollak obtained her Clinical Doctorate in Audiology in October 2001. She has written a number of articles regarding hearing healthcare, published in local papers. Dr. Pollak taught Pediatric Audiology at the Master's Degree level at CUNY, and has supervised and mentored many graduate and doctoral students of Audiology.

Dr. Pollak is a member in good standing of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), the American Academy of Audiology, The American Auditory Society, and is Board Certified by the American Board of Audiology.


Chava Drillick, MS, CCC-A




Chava Drillick, MS, CCC-A joined our practice as a Clinical Audiologist in February of 2005, having graduated with honors from Brooklyn College, CUNY. Mrs. Drillick conducts full audiological test batteries and fits hearing aids under the supervision of Dr. Pollak.

Leah Climent
Audiologist



Leah Ciment is an audiologist with extensive experience in pediatric and adult populations. She received her Master's Degree in Audiology from Brooklyn College in 1996. Leah has worked in hospital, nursing homes and office settings in the New York area for the past 13 years as well as on the staff at Texas Children's Hospital in Houston, Texas.  She is proficient in diagnostics, counseling and rehabilitation.  Methods utilized with competency include behavioral testing, ABR and OAE testing followed, when appropriate, by dispensing of the latest technology in hearing aids. In addition to English, Leah is fluent in Hebrew and Yiddish.
